These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “Organizer”, or “Participant”) and Venyue (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By creating an account, accessing https://www.venyue.app, or registering for an event powered by Venyue, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Description of Services
Venyue provides an AI-native event operations platform enabling organizations to:
- Create and publish event registration portals and ticket tiers.
- Issue secure digital QR passes to registered attendees.
- Verify passes at gates and checkpoints using real-time and offline scanners.
- Manage meal vouchers, item distributions, and swag entitlements digitally.
- Leverage AI assistants to handle attendee inquiries and query live event analytics.
3. Accounts & Security
To organize events, you must register for an organizer account. You agree to provide accurate and current information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Organizer Responsibilities
- Authority: You represent that you possess the full legal authority to host the event and collect attendee information.
- Accuracy of Details: You are responsible for ensuring event descriptions, dates, pricing, and venue details are truthful and up to date.
- Refunds & Cancellations: Organizers establish their own refund and cancellation policies. Venyue does not arbitrate disputes regarding event cancellations or ticket refunds.
- Compliance: Organizers must comply with applicable safety, public assembly, and privacy regulations.
5. Attendee Pass Terms
Each digital pass issued via Venyue is personal to the registered attendee. Attempting to forge, alter, or duplicate QR tokens is strictly prohibited. If a pass has already been marked as scanned at gate check-in, duplicate scan attempts will be flagged and gate staff reserve the right to refuse entry.
6. Ticketing Fees & Refunds
For paid ticket tiers, transactions are processed directly via connected payment gateways (Stripe, Razorpay). Venyue charges applicable software platform fees as detailed during plan selection or event publishing. All refund requests must be directed to the event organizer.
7. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to:
- Host events promoting hate speech, illegal activities, or hazardous conduct.
- Attempt to circumvent digital pass validation, scanner authentication, or gate security.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape platform code and APIs.
- Deploy automated bots to hoard tickets or exhaust registration capacities.
8. Intellectual Property
Venyue retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the platform software, user interfaces, brand marks, and documentation. Organizers retain full intellectual property rights over their logos, trademarks, and uploaded event media.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Venyue shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your access to or inability to access the service, including event cancellation or venue network failures beyond our control. In no event shall Venyue's total aggregate liability exceed the fees paid by you to Venyue in the preceding 12 months.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
